Tuesday- May 21, 2019
Depart for the Gateway City and see the history and the importance of St. Louis to the Lewis & Clark westward expansion. The first day will have you experience some St. Louis favorites—Blues & BBQ. You will enjoy a scrumptious lunch from Sugarfire BBQ then walk right next door to the National Blues Museum where your guide will take you through the incorporation of Blues in every style of music. The group will also have time at the famous Gateway Arch and its newly renovated Gateway Arch Museum before settling down for the night at the Drury Plaza at the Arch where you get to enjoy a nightly Kick-back. Wednesday - May 22, 2019
It’s time to explore the city, starting with Anheuser-Busch Grant’s Farm. This tour includes a safari ride through Deer Park, owned by the Grant family and now the famous Busch family. We will spend some time at Bauernhof where you can walk through the horse stables, looking at exquisite collections while drinking some FREE beer. The Budweiser Clydesdales are also on property. Next stop, is within Jefferson Barrack’s. We will go to the Telephone Museum and truly see and stand in a piece of history. Lunch will be at Ballpark Village with a view of Busch Stadium. The tours continue at Anheuser-Busch Biergarden & Budwesier St. Louis Brewery, before a family-style dinner at Favazza’s on the Hill. The group will take a second to see the light show at the historical Union Station Hotel. Finally, we will cap the night off with Ted Drewe’s Frozen Custard—guaranteed to satisfy your sweet tooth. Thursday - May 23, 2019
There is still more! Before leaving town, we will take a tour of the NEW Soldier’s Memorial Military Museum. This museum is dedicated in memory of all the fallen soldiers and celebrates the brave men and women from the Revolutionary War to the present day. The last stop on the agenda is the World Chess Hall of Fame You will see the world’s largest chess piece in front of the museum and explore three floors of exhibits. The Gift Shop is voted ‘Best in St. Louis’! B
