Day 1 Our adventure to Texas begins through Tennessee. We will stop at Casey Jones Village to enjoy a lunch buffet at Brooks Shaw’s Old Country Store before touring the Casey Jones Railroad Museum. We will continue driving and overnight in Little Rock, AR. L

 Day 2 Today, the destination is Dallas! We will grab some lunch at the Dallas Farmers Market and explore the shops. We will see Dealey Plaza. Our next stop is the legendary Southfork Ranch,made famous by the Ewing family in the television series Dallas . B

Day 3 Today is full of fun! First, we head to Waco and tour the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame & Museum. Next stop is the Dr. Pepper Museum featuring the drink of choice in Waco. Then it is time for shopping and food at Magnolia Market at the Silos. This place was made famous by HGTV’s Fixer Upper stars, Chip & Joanna Gaines. Tonight, we will check-in to our Riverwalk hotel in San Antonio -- Drury Inn & Suites San Antonio Riverwalk. After check-in we will head out for a welcome dinner in San Antonio. B,D

Day 4 We will explore the city with a step-on guide - Tour San Antonio. Our stops will include Mission San Jose, Aqueduct, Mission Conception and San Fernando Cathedral & more. After the tour, we will have lunch and shop again—this time at Historic Market Square. The group will enjoy an IMAX movie Alamo:The Price of Freedom at the AMC Rivercenter Theatre before going to see the real thing! We arrive at The Alamo for an audio tour before heading back to the hotel to enjoy the complimentary Drury Kick-Back- food, snacks, and drinks courtesy of the hotel. B

Day 5 FREE DAY- Enjoy the day on your own explore the beauty of the Riverwalk and all San Antonio has to offer! This is a great time to use your GO RIO cruise passes. B

Day 6 We travel to Houston to spend the day at the Space Center Houston: Gateway to NASA Johnson Space Center. Your ticket includes a Tram Ride around the Space Center where you can see full-scale rockets! The group will continue to travel and overnight in Beaumont, TX. B

Day 7 We depart this morning and travel to Destrehan, LA to visit the Destrehan Plantation,established in 1787 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Destrehan Plantation remains the oldest documented plantation home in the lower Mississippi Valley. We will continue on to our overnight stay in Meridian, MS. B

Day 8 Today we travel home after a fantastic tour down South! We will stop along the way to see the beautiful scenery. B
