Day 1
Rise and shine for our Southwest Adventure! Today we travel through Kentucky and Tennessee in time for lunch at Casey Jones Village in Jackson, TN. Everyone will enjoy a delicious Southern buffet style dinner at the world famous Brooks Shaw’s, voted Best Buffet and Best Southern Cooking in the Jackson Sun Reader’s Choice Awards! We will continue on to Little Rock, AR to overnight. L

Day 2
Today we make our way to Dallas with time to visit and have lunch at the famous Dallas Farmers Market. We will continue on to Weatherford, TX to overnight. B

Day 3
Our travels this morning take us through Abilene and Big Spring, TX. This afternoon will visit Carlsbad Caverns National Park Visitor Center and hope to time it just right when the bats leave the cavern. We will overnight in Carlsbad, NM. B

Day 4
Today we will have a guided tour of Carlsbad Caverns. We will continue on to Roswell to overnight. B

Day 5
We will spend today exploring Old Town Albuequerque. Stroll the Plaza, dine at the many restaurants, visit museums or shop at over 150 stores and galleries for unique gifts from the Southwest and around the world. This afternoon we will travel to Gallup, NM to overnight. B

Day 6
The Painted Desert so aptly describes our first stop this morning with unforgettable colors from deep lavenders to grays, orange, reds and pinks. After our orientation video and visit to the Rainbow Forest complex, we will explore part of the Petrified Forest National Park and get in touch with the natural landscape. We will continue on to Flagstaff, AZ where we will overnight. B

Day 7
Today we head to Grand Canyon Village and have a step on guide to take us on an escorted tour through the eastern rim of the Grand Canyon to several viewpoints along the way. Those points include Mather Point, Grand Canyon Visitor Center, Desert View and the Little Colorado River Gorge. While in Desert View, you will have time to see the Watchtower and the nearby Tusayan Ruins and Museum. After lunch in the village, we will travel to Page, AZ to overnight.B

Day 8
Today we will visit Antelope Canyon for a a guided tour. Today you will have a chance to walk through monumental sandstone sculptures in Northern Arizona's pristine slot canyons. Be sure to have your camera ready. Antelope Canyon is one of the most photographed destinations in the Southwest. We will visit Glen Canyon Dam, the heart of the "Grand Circle: of Southwest national parks. This afternoon, we continue on the Kayenta, AZ to overnight. A Southwestern (made from scratch) dinner is included tonight.B,D

Day 9
Monument Valley and a Navajo Guided Tour are all ours to enjoy today. A “Seventh Wonder of the World” the rock formations in Monument Valley inspired John Ford to many a western film here. We will experience enchanting stores of the Native Americans who live here with visits to the Big Indian, Sleeping Dragon, and all the Arches! Lunch is provided today. Scenic road trips lead to the only place in the U.S. where four states intersect at one point. This afternoon, you will have a chance to stand in Arizona, Utah, Colorado and New Mexico at the same time at this one-of-a-kind landmark. We will overnight in Cortez, CO.B

Day 10
Today our travels take us to Durango, CO. On the way, we will visit Mesa Verde National Park. We will continue on to Historic Downtown Durango in time for shopping and dinner on your own. We spend the next 2 nights Durango, CO. B

Day 11
Today is definitely another highlight of this adventure. We board the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad. The train winds through spectacular & breathtaking canyons in the remote wilderson of the 2 million acre San Juan National Forest. Enjoy lunch on your own and sightseeing in Silverton, CO. The rest of the day is free to enjoy Durango. B

Day 12
Sit back and enjoy the scenery today as we travel to the Amarillo, TX to overnight. We will have dinner (on your own) at Big Texan. B

Day 13
Today we make our way to Oklahoma City, where we will visit the Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum. You will be able to journey through touchscreens, galleries and theaters where a powerful story unfolds - one that's as relevant today as ever. We will overnight in Joplin, Mo. B

Day 14
We will begin our journey home this morning after breakfast, bringing memories back with us of the beautiful Southwest that will last a lifetime.B
