Day 1
Sit back and enjoy the beautiful scenery as we drive to Charlotte, NC where we will overnight @ The Drury Inn. We will arrive in time for their 5:30 kick-back.

Day 2
After breakfast, we travel to The Old City Market in Charleston for lunch (on your own) Upon arrival in Charleston, we will visit the Charleston City Market for lunch (on your own) and shopping. This afternoon we will be joined by an expert step-on guide for a tour of Historic Charleston.Dinner is included tonight. We will spend the next 2 nights in Mt Pleasant, SC. B,D

Day 3
After breakfast, we will visit Sullivan's Island and tour Fort Moultrie National Historical Park, originally built for the Revolutionary War and is one of the more interesting forts on the eastern seaboard. We will visit Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum, one of the world's largest naval and maritime museums. Visit the Uss Yorktown, the Destroyer Laffey, the Vietnam Era Naval Support Base and the newly renovated Congressional Medal of Honor Museum. Enjoy a boxed lunch while here. We will have time to freshen up at the hotel before our evening adventure…aboard the Spirit of Carolina for a dinner cruise. A delicious multi-course plated dinner as we cruise through the beautiful Charleston Harbor. B,L,D

Day 4
This morning we will visit Drayton House, considered the finest Georgian Palladian plantation house in the south. Take a tour of Charleston Tea Plantation with a box lunch included, free afternoon and evening. B,L

Day 5
After breakfast, we will tour Ft Sumter before we make our way to Asheville, NC where we will overnight @ Courtyard by Marriott.B

Day 6
We depart Asheville this morning for our return trip home with memories of our celebration of America's 250th birthday! B
