Wednesday – October 17, 2018
We depart this morning for our Dolly Parton’s Tour of Many Colors. Enjoy the beautiful scenery as we make our way to Pigeon Forge arriving this afternoon. We will get a head start on Christmas by visiting the Christmas Place before checking in to the brand new Summit @ Country Cascades, where we will spend the next 2 nights. This evening we attend the Smokie’s Most Fun Place to Eat, Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede. Watch as 32 magnificent horses and a cast of top-notch riders thrill you with daring feats of trick riding and friendly competition like no other. The show culminates with an emotional musical conclusion set to a patriotic salute of Red, White, and Blue—featuring Color Me America, written and recorded by Dolly Parton herself.
Thursday – October 18, 2018
After breakfast we experience “the ship of dreams” at Titanic – World’s largest museum attraction. This unforgettable hands-on experience features over 400 artifacts from the doomed vessel. Our next stop is “The Island” – Pigeon Forge’s one-stop for lunch and shopping. Explore this complex with more than 60 retail and specialty shops, a number of restaurants, dancing fountains and more! Our evening adventure is at Dolly Parton’s Smoky Mountain Adventures Dinner Show. A riveting, high energy and romantic dinner & show. It is a non-stop exciting journey taking us back to a time that tells a tale of Dolly’s own family history.
Friday – October 19, 2018
This morning we check out of the hotel, but the fun isn’t over just yet. We will have a step-on-guided tour of Dolly Parton’s hometown. You will definitely want to get your picture made with Dolly Parton’s Statue. We will stop at Russell Stover Candies before our return trip home. Our afternoon break is at the Kentucky Artisan Center in Berea, KY, a 25,000 sq. ft. Kentucky arts center with everything KENTUCKY!! We will arrive home this evening.
